KERR COUNTY YMCA
SINCE 1990
"Every game is an opportunity to measure yourself against your own potential."
- Kerri Walsh
In 1895, William G. Morgan invented the game of volleyball at the Holyoke, Massachusetts YMCA. Today there are more than 800 million volleyball players worldwide, with 46 million being in the U.S. The history of volleyball originated at the YMCA, and today we continue to introduce the sport to young ladies in our community. Kerr County YMCA enables girls ages 8 to 15 the opportunity to learn the basics of the game, and to also improve the skills that they are already good at. With the help of terrific volunteer coaches our fall, spring and summer volleyabll leagues provide over 250 young ladies a great environment to experience the sport of volleyball.
